LEARN YOUR ABC's

 

You're gonna say, "But I already know my ABC's!!! Why should I need to learn them again?" We need to know our ABC's to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ. And a relationship with Jesus, becoming His friend, is the most important thing we will ever do. Check out God's version of the ABC's.

A=Admit: Admit that you are a sinner, that you have ignored God and done wrong things. Read Romans 3:23  For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

B=Believe: Believe in Jesus. Everyone deserves to die because they ignore God and do wrong things. But Jesus came to die in their place so they could be saved from the punishment they deserve. By believing that Jesus did this for us, we can be saved. Read Acts 16:31 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

C=Confess: Confess and turn away from your sins. Jesus will forgive you and save you and make you a part of His family. Then you can begin a wonderful relationship with Him. Read 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Pray: Dear Jesus, I have been ignoring You and doing a lot of bad things. I am a sinner. But I believe that You died to take the punishment that I deserve. I ask you to forgive me, save me and help me to turn away from my wrong doing. Come into my heart so I can begin a wonderful relationship with You. Amen

• Tell someone about your new relationship with Jesus.
• Read His Word (the Bible) every day and obey what He tells you to do.
• Find a church where other people have a personal relationship with Jesus and become a part of this church.
• Ask an adult who believes to help you with any questions you may have.
