Prayer Please

Dear Friends and Family,

I need your prayers!

The time has finally come when I am no longer physically or mentally able to keep up the weekly Inspirations.  Let me explain.

I have a genetic affliction called Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome/Dysautonomia. It is a dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system (the part of the nervous system that controls heart beat, breathing, etc.) that signals the glands to pump hormones into the body at the wrong time which creates confusion in the entire body. There’s nothing like waking in the middle of the night after a surge of adrenalin and fell like climbing the walls. You can learn more about it by visiting www.mitralvalveprolapse.com .

Because of this malfunction I am BLESSED (:) :( ) with all these symptoms: irregular heart beat, chronic fatigue, chronic clinical depression, shortness of breath, chronic insomnia, chronic back and side aches, intestinal and stomach malfunctions including both bowel and bladder incontinence (my pipes leak  :) ), dizzy spells (I walk like a drunk person :) ), poor concentration, memory and verbal skills, and finally mild curvature of the spine.

Because of all these difficulties I stay mostly isolated except for church on Sunday morning, grocery shopping and an occasional visit to a Bluegrass concert. I haven’t driven a vehicle since 2006.

This is why I need your prayers. I am in misery.

But wait!! I don’t want your pity, for I am still blessed in so many ways. I have a wonderful husband. I can still see, hear, feel (I can no longer taste or smell!) pray, laugh, walk, feed and dress myself, and enjoy my home on the mountain. I am well fed and able to breathe deeply, stretch and walk, which does help some.  PTL

So with your prayers I might just get a healing and be able to write again, at least a new Inspiration once in a while.

Beloved, can you do this for me? Thank you in advance.

Blessings to All!
